Engineer for process technology

CryLaS Crystal Laser Systems GmbH is active in the field of optical technologies. We develop, produce and distribute diode-pumped solid-state lasers for applications in materials processing, medical technology, analytics and research and development. In close cooperation with customers on international markets, the products are created from the idea to series production.

For the further expansion of our production we are looking for an engineer /-in for process technology (d/m/w) for the next possible date.

We offer you an exciting extraordinary field of work:

  • Transfer of development projects to series production
    – Select and establish processes
    – Accompaniment of sampling in the development phase and influence on design in dependence on production technology and quality aspects
    – Supervision of the series ramp-up, ensuring the qualification of the production staff
    – Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and production flows
  • Plan and create production processes
    – Process engineering development, optimization and standardization of existing or future production processes
  • Preparation and support of process documents
    – Creation of production control plans as well as the work and test instructions
    – Carrying out capability studies of new or modified products and production processes
  • Procurement of production equipment:
    – Preparation of procurement specifications or requirement specifications
    – Solicitation of bids and handling of procurement, in cooperation with the purchasing department
    – Commissioning of the procured production equipment
    – Creation of production approvals of workstations
    – Creation of work documents, maintenance plans and various process documentation
    – Training of the production staff

We are happy to see your:

  • Completed studies in the field of production technology, process technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, if possible with experience in the optics and/or laser industry
  • Ideally, several years of experience in the points described under tasks

  • Confident in the use of general office software
  • Reliable, conscientious and independent way of working
  • Very good techical perception, analytical thinking, ability to work in a team, ability to learn, creativity, correct appearance
  • Good knowledge of the English language in word & writing
